Photographer Robert Holmgren has shot assignments for a wide variety of publications such as Time, Newsweek, Fortune, Forbes, Businessweek, Smithsonian and National Geographic. Much of this work involved environmental portrature of prominent individuals such as Tiger Woods, Steve Young, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, the founders of Yahoo, Google, Intel and countless others. As a result of this experience, Holmgren joined with a handful of other magazine photographers to found Editorial Photographers, an organization that seeks to educate photographers about business practices and to assist in negotiating with publishers on behalf of this community. The organization grew to approximately 4000 photographers around the world and maintains an online resource to assist working photographers. Robert Holmgren sells stock images through Getty Images, Jupiter Images and Peter Arnold Inc. Interview (click here) |
